Sabut Masoor Daal Recipe:
Ingredients:
-Black Masoor Daal 250grms
-Ginger garlic crushed 1tbsp
-Green chili crushed 3pc
-Salt 1.5tsp
-Turmeric powder 1/2tsp
-Red chili powder 1tsp
-Water 2.5 glass
Pressure cook for 20 minutes
-Cumin whole 1tsp
-Coriander powder 1tsp
-Black pepper powder 1/2tsp
-Garam masala 1/2tsp
-Fresh coriander
For Tadka:
-Oil 1/2 cup
-Onion sliced
-Garlic 2-3 cloves sliced
-Red chili dried 3
For the Rice:
-Oil 1 cup
-Cumin whole 1tsp
-Salt 2tbsp
-Water 3.5 cups
-Rice basmati 2 cups(soaked for an hour)
For salad:
-Cucumber 1 large peeled & sliced
-Tomato 1 large sliced
-Onion 1 medium sliced
-Green chili 1 chopped
-Lemon juice 1tbsp
-White vinegar 2tbsp
-Black pepper powder 1/2tsp
-Salt as required
-Mint fresh
Served with Salad & Mint Yoghurt chutney.
