Lentil patties or lentil fritters are a quick, easy, and tasty recipe you can make in less than 30 minutes.

They are satisfying and nutritious, rich in protein and fiber that will keep you healthy and satiated.

INGREDIENTS:
2 cans (15 oz each) (460 grams) lentils green, black, brown / sub 3 cups cooked lentils / or 1 cup dried boiled in 4 cups water and 1 teaspoon salt until tender.
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour or chickpea flour
¼ cup (8 grams) parsley chopped + 2 tablespoons cilantro optional
1 medium onion coarsely chopped
3 cloves garlic coarsely chopped
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground coriander
4 tablespoons nutritional yeast or grated parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon salt
⅛ teaspoon black pepper
4 wedges lemon

OVEN-BAKED: Arrange patties on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 400°F or 200°C for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

PAN-FRIED: Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a nonstick skillet for every 4 fritters. Fry fritters on medium heat for 4 minutes on each side, turning them once.

AIR-FRIED: Brush the air fryer basket with olive oil.
Arrange the patties in the basket, brush them with olive oil, and air fry at 400°F or 200°C for 10 minutes.
