History
One of the earliest recorded recipes resembling meatloaf dates back to ancient Rome, where a dish called "minutal patina" was made from minced meat mixed with bread, spices, and other ingredients.

In the United States, meatloaf became popular during the Great Depression as an economical way to stretch meat further. It gained further popularity during World War II when food rationing was in effect. Since then, it has remained a staple in American cuisine and has evolved with various regional and cultural adaptations.

Ingredients
1 Pound Ground Bison or Beef
1Cup Diced Onion
1 Cup Diced Tomato
1 Cup Diced Celery
1/2 Cup Grated Carrot
1 Cup Dried Bread Crumbs
2 Crushed Garlic Cloves
2 Eggs
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper

Honey Mustard
1 Tablespoon Honey
1 Tablespoon Dijon Mustard
